Scientific specialization
The collection of the library “Nino Arietti” consists of:
- a modern collection of monographs and books of scientific dissemination;
- a large number of specialised periodicals;
- historical collection belonged to important Italian and Brescian scholars.
Due to the characteristics of its heritage, the library has a dual role of conservation and dissemination and as part of the Sistema Bibliotecario Urbano it offers all the related services.
The library actively collaborates with the Museum and is responsible for the exchange of its publications with those published by Italian and international scientific institutions.
In order to raise the younger public awareness, the library also promote reading activities, in suitable spaces that have been created to accommodate kids sections.
